Erica is the Vice-President, Customer Solutions for ComEd. Erica leads the team delivering energy efficiency, demand response, and solar and other energy solutions for ComEd customers.
Previously as the VP of Customer Channels, Erica led the Care Center and eChannels teams that interact with customers each day, as well as the teams that drive new customer programs and a premier customer experience. Prior to that role, she served as VP of Communications, where she led the effort to engage customers, stakeholders, and employees in the many ways that ComEd powers lives; she was responsible for media relations, employee communications, reputation management, advertising, and crisis communication for the company.
A Rhodes Scholar and West Point graduate, Erica Borggren is a former Army captain who served in Iraq, in the Republic of Korea, and throughout the U.S. Central Command region. She previously served as the Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs, where she spearheaded the launch of Illinois Joining Forces, an award-winning public-private network of organizations committed to working together to serve veterans better. Borggren was selected in 2014 as a White House “Champion of Change” for her veteran-related efforts.
